Pasco County School Board made their decision Tuesday night regarding the rezoning of many of Wesley Chapel's subdivisions. Siding with Superintendent Kurt Browning, and going against the advisory committee, the school board chose to go with option 13. The school board cited the possibility that Seven Oaks students could attend as many as four campuses between middle and high school. The new zoning will have Country Walk and Fox Ridge being rezoned to Wesley Chapel High School and neighborhoods west of I-75, Stagecoach, Grand Oaks, Lexington Oaks, Westbrook Estates and Quail Hollow, being rezoned to Cypress Creek High.
The rezoning vote also hit West Pasco high schools and middle schools throughout the county. On the southwest side of Pasco, the school board approved plan 42A for the high school maps. For more information visit the Pasco County Schools website.
