Are you looking for a great spot to watch the fireworks for the 4th of July?  Here's a list of displays in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco.

Downtown Tampa will have Boom By The Bay.  The celebration will run along Tampa's riverfront from Armature Works to Sparkman Wharf.  There will be four fireworks displays total with the best viewing from Armature Works, Riverfront Park, the Tampa Convention Center, and Sparkman Wharf.  Prior to the fireworks, there will be food trucks, a water ski show, hot dog eating contest, Tampa Bay Buccaneers experiences and more. 

Channelside will also be the home of American Victory’s Freedom Fest.  Climb on board the American Victory Ship for live entertainment, food vendors, a kids' zone, and other refreshments.  The World War II steamship, docked at Channelside, will be a great location to view the Boom by the Bay fireworks.  Admission onto the American Victory is $13 for adults, $7 for ages 4-12, and $10 for active military and veterans. 705 Channelside Dr., Tampa

Temple Terrace will host their annual Independence Day Celebration at Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club.  They kick off the day with an Independence Parade at 10 AM along Whiteway Dr & Gillette Ave.  That evening head to the first fairway to enjoy food vendors and live music.  The fireworks display will begin at 9:15 PM. 

Plant City will be celebrating at the Plant City Stadium.  Gates open at 6 PM and there will be inflatables, live music, corn hole, food concessions, balloon art, and local vendors.  The fireworks will begin at 9 PM.  Admission is free but it is $5 per vehicle to park.

Whiskey Joe's Bar & Grill will be celebrating with their Red, White and Boom Beach Bash.  Celebrate with live music by the Greg White Band at 2 PM and a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute at 8 PM, then the fireworks begin at 9:15 PM.  It's $5 before 5 PM, then $15-20 from 5-11 PM. 7720 W Courtney Campbell Causeway, Tampa. Godfrey’s Fourth of July Party will be a daylong party starting at 11 a.m. There will be entertainment, BBQ, and fireworks beginning at 9:15 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Armed Forces Families Foundation.  7700 W Courtney Campbell Causeway, Tampa. (813) 281-8900. wtrtampa.com

Busch Gardens will host four nights of parties starting on Thursday.  There will be live music, patriotic desserts, and games, with a grand fireworks display at 9:30 PM.  The Independence Day celebration is included in park admission. 

Pasco

Wesley Chapel will have the 2019 Avalon Park West Celebration.  Kicking off at 5 PM, there will be a bounce park, bike parade, bake-off, food trucks, vendors, and fireworks.  The event is free and open to the public. 5227 Autumn Ridge Drive

Dade City will host El Cuatrofest.  This year's event will feature watermelon eating contest, live music, beer & wine garden, cornhole contests, lawn games, dancing, food trucks and the evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display.  $5 per car starting at 5 p.m. Barrington Hill Event Space, 16117 Lake Iola Road, Dade City.

Land O Lakes will be celebrating with 4th of July Concert for a Cause Celebration. Head out to Game on Park at Bexley for a kids bike parade, food trucks, and concert by Chasing Amy.  The festivities begin at 5 PM.  The event is free but they will be collecting non-perishable food items for Feeding Tampa Bay. Cash donations will also be accepted.

Pinellas

Downtown St. Petersburg will offer lots of areas to view the fireworks with Light Up The Park.  Head down to one of six different parks, Bayshore Drive at Albert Whitted Park, North Straub Park, South Straub Park, North Shore Park, Elva Rouse Park or Flora Wylie Park for a great view.  Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. but can start as early as 8:30 p.m. and as late as 10 p.m. depending on the weather. This year’s celebration has a new feature that lets you watch the fireworks set to music using the free J&M Displays app, which is available on iPhone and Android phones. 

Clearwater Celebrates America at Coachman Park.  There will be local vendors, food, drink concessions, a children's play area, and a Park Pops Orchestra concert.  Festivities begin at 6 PM and fireworks begin at 9:30 PM.  No outside drinks are allowed but you can bring drinking water and a low profile chair. Madeira Beach is a great place to enjoy fireworks by the water.  Bring your coolers, chairs, and blankets to ROC Park, 200 Rex Place for the fireworks display which begins at 8:45 PM.  Additional firework viewing areas include Causeway Park (911 Memorial) and the American Legion. The city said you can see the show from almost anywhere on Madeira Beach, but prime viewing spots include Causeway Park ROC Park and Holten Property. These locations will have limited free parking. Beach chairs and blankets are encouraged. 

Tarpon Springs will have a day full of activities.  Kick off the day with a Patriotic Picnic in the Park from 10 AM - 2 PM at Craig Park.  There will be a hot dog eating contest, water slides, live music, and lawn games.  Later, head over to Fred Howard Park between 7:30 and 9 p.m. to secure a great vantage point to watch the fireworks which will begin at sunset.

Safety Harbor will also be hosting a day full of Fourth of July celebrations.  The annual parade down Main Street begins at 10 AM, followed by a patriotic ceremony at the gazebo.  Later, head out to celebrate with live entertainment and food vendors beginning at 5 PM, and a fireworks display at 9 PM. The event is free to the public but there are VIP tickets available which include a BBQ buffet, open bar, and special seating for the fireworks.  Safety Harbor City Marina, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane.

Gulfport will kick off the day with a Kids' Fishing Derby at Michael J Yakes Recreation Complex from 8-11 AM.  From 10 AM until noon check out the Family Sand Sculpture Contest on Gulfport Beach.  There'll be a community parade down Beach Boulevard beginning at 6 PM.  For the best viewing spot head to the sidewalk in front of the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. Gulfport Beach will close the day's festivities with a fireworks display at 9 PM.
